Ace is loyal, affectionate, and active.
We got Ace from MO Wiggle Butts when my youngest was 3 and having big emotional outburts related to speech delay. Ace let him snuggle, rough-house, cry into his fur, and was endlessly patient and calm. He follows my husband and I from room to room so he can lay right at our feet, including under the dinner table.
Ace is about 5, and he needs an owner(s) that can safely monitor his guard dog tendencies. He needs big walks and/or room to run. He is protective of his owners around strangers, particularly men, but when he is away from his family, for example boarding at the vet, he does just fine.
We live on a corner lot on a very busy street where passersby have complained about Ace "patrolling" our fence line. Our kids also have a habit of leaving the front door wide open when they go out to play, and Ace has chased a couple of door-to-door salesmen down the street. It was scary, but he never hurt anyone. He is just trying to protect his family.
