Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If handsome, huggable, and house trained are on the top of wish list, get your application in for Lander now! This young fella has a wonderful disposition—he loves the company of people and is comfortable with dogs. Lander enjoys walks thru the neighborhood and exploring all the smells in the backyard of his foster home. He interacts well with the two dogs at his foster home. Lander is discovering toys, however spends the bulk of his time chilling on a cool spot in the house or hanging outside.
Lander has not met a cat to our knowledge. He has not been around children in his foster home, but has met a variety of adults and has been engaging with all of them. Lander has demonstrated that he is house and crate trained. He does well on a leash and is an excellent passenger in a vehicle. A fence is not required, but Lander will need to get in his daily exercise. Lander does have one request from his new person/family and that’s belly rubs upon request. Lander is going to be an amazing companion for someone. He is a dog that likes to please so continued training and perhaps striving towards Canine Good Citizen certification would be a great fit for this mellow man.
Lander is a male Retriever/SharPei (our best guess of breeds, we cannot be certain) who was was born approximately 6-7-23 and weighs 67 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, provided life-saving heartworm treatment and started on heartworm prevention. He must be kept on monthly heartworm prevention without exception since he has had heartworm treatment. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. If interested in adopting one of our available dogs or puppies, you must first complete an online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will be contacted by our adoption coordinator via email after your application has been reviewed & approved to schedule an appointment. Our website is updated daily, pets that are listed are still available.
***If you are serious about adopting, you must first complete and submit an application on our website. Our Adoption Team will respond via email from DollysLegacyAdoptions@gmail.com once you have completed an application. If a pet is still listed, it is not yet adopted as we update daily.
