Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dash the 6mth kitten!
Dash has unfortunately had a rough past, but he is excited to find his forever loving home!
Dash was originally found as a scared stray kitten, living in terrible conditions. He was taken to an animal shelter, where he did not pass their behavioral exam due to hissing. Unfortunately, due to how full most shelters are, they do not have the capacity or time to work with scared kittens. He was then neutered and was scheduled to be released as a TNR cat (hence his ear tip). We were contacted in hopes that we would be able to help him before he was released. Upon transport to us, Dash tried to make a break for it. He hopped out of his carrier and got himself up into the transporter's car engine. The car had to be taken apart so he could be safely rescued. Because of this, the transporter came up with his name.
Since arriving at our rescue, Dash has really come out of his shell. Although he is still timid when first meeting new people, he is a very sweet and cuddly boy once warmed up! He is loving his new indoor cat lifestyle. He currently resides with several other kitties, and he would love to have a kitty playmate in his new home. Dogs may make him nervous, however he would most likely do well with dogs that respect his space.
He would prefer a quieter home without small children. With this being said, we think with some extra time and patience, he would be able to adjust to any home just fine! Dash is considered an escape risk and should be monitored closely while he is getting adjusted and comfortable in his new home.
Dash is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. He is litter box trained as well.
