My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Roland!
I might be a little shy at first, but give me time, and I’ll show you just how sweet and playful I can be. I was the new kid in my foster home, but I fit right in with my kitten siblings, the big dog, and even the resident cats. I love exploring, playing, and snuggling with my foster siblings—they’ve helped me feel brave! Once I trust you, I’ll purr to let you know I’m happy and safe. Bonus: I’ve got the cutest little squeak to greet you in the mornings. I’d love a forever home with another friendly cat or kitten to keep me company!”

My adoption fee of $150 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
