Bio: Meet Plume, a resilient girl who’s ready to embrace her new beginning! Rescued from a Chicago shelter, she came to us underweight and bearing several scars, each telling a story of a tough start in life. But thanks to Our Pack, she’s now thriving in Wisconsin, and her transformation is nothing short of remarkable.
Plume has put on healthy weight and radiates happiness, but her journey hasn’t been without challenges. Despite her broken leg, which wasn’t healing correctly, she showed an incredible spirit, walking around without a hint of pain. This girl is all about joy and positivity!
Fortunately, we found a skilled surgeon who has made her "bionic" with a repair involving pins and a plate. Now, Plume is on an 8-week healing journey, requiring some extra love and care. During these 8 weeks she'll need a caring environment—no jumping or running up and down stairs—just fun walks to strengthen her leg and promote healing.

Plume is fantastic with people and other dogs, and she’s well-behaved when left alone.
