Bolt was a rescued stray. My neighbor's son collected him from his job site but, after a month, was unable to keep him and was going to surrender him to the local shelter. The local shelter is full and are putting down dogs - even perfectly healthy dogs. They are overwhelmed with dogs and larger dogs, especially shepherds / rottweilers seem to be more difficult to adopt out. So, I tried to step up and adopt him. I have had him for 3 months. Bolt is a good dog most of the time and when he's not good, he's just being a pup. He's not a bad dog. He's very smart and knows basic commands: Sit, paw (and other paw), down, and place (to go to a specific place).
I had planned on trying to give him a home and have my mother provide doggy daycare while I worked during the day. But, unfortunately, my mom is 82 and Bolt is too much for her to handle.
He needs a good loving home and lots of love and pets and probably some space to run!
