Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Seamus! I am about 7 months old and 39 lbs. I am one of four in my litter that is looking for homes. I am the only boy and I look a lot different from my sisters. They look more labby like - I look a bit more shepherd/cur but also have a lab like body. I am playful, friendly, affectionate and tend to watch things for a second before I jump in. I am dog friendly and I have done well out in social settings. I am crate-trained and housebroken but yes, I will need some transition help when I get to my new home. I am still young! I have not spent time with cats but I am responsive to my humans and want to please so we think a dog savvy cat could do the trick. I have met kids of all ages while out and about. I have not had a negative reaction but my experience with kids under 6 has not been extensive. Interview

ASCZ will contact you for a phone call within 72 hours after submission of your application. Please check your spam for our emails!

Additional adoption info

Please email info@asecondchanceforziva.com for an adoption application if interested in adopting or fostering a dog from ASCZ and please email us after you have submitted an application. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.

The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.

A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs.
