My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kody is a roughly 8 month old Belgian Malinois who was found as a stray roaming the streets of California. He was rescued by a kind woman who found him starving nd he's looking for his forever home!

Kody loves to play ball and is content walking around all day with a basketball in his mouth. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys running around and learning from them.

He was likely abused as a young puppy and would flinch when his foster parents went to grab the leash to take him on walks. He has since been doing much better with his fear of the leash.

Mission Statemet
Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. (MAD) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which is dedicated to rescuing Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds who have found themselves without a home (surrendered, discarded, abused, neglected or impounded). MAD does not have a physical location and is operated by compassionate, like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save and care for the Malinois and Dutch Shepherds. All animals that are accepted by MAD are spayed or neutered, given medical attention and rehabilitation, as needed, and placed with foster homes until their health and evaluations are completed and they are ready to be placed in their loving permanent homes.
