My name is Ruby! I am a tall lanky perhaps doberman or greyhound mix. I am about 46 lbs and 10 to 11 months so I could be close to full grown. I might fill out a bit more! I am really good with cats and dogs and I love kids. I currently live with kids 7+. I am friendly and outgoing. I am an active player so if I live with another dog (which would be fun for me), an active dog would be a good match. I can play well with large or small. Look at my video. I am so funny - I can stand SO still when "my" cat is around - it's like I am in a trance. My foster mom says I can go like 20 minutes as a statue. I am never in an aggressive stance nor do I break my frozen state! Hilarious! A fenced in yard would be ideal but me but I also enjoy my walks! I am housebroken and crate-trained and overall a catch! ASCZ will contact you for a phone call within 72 hours after submission of your application. Please check your spam for our emails!

Additional adoption info

Please email info@asecondchanceforziva.com for an adoption application if interested in adopting or fostering a dog from ASCZ and please email us after you have submitted an application. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.

The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.

A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs.
