My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Himalayan Poppy, and I was born at FMAR with my siblings and Mama. I'm the most laid back of my litter, and I really enjoy a good nap, or cuddle session with my siblings. I do love playing with toys, but sometimes I just like to sit and watch. I would be the perfect match for someone who needs a cuddle buddy!

If you'd like to adopt me, please submit an application. I'm spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Despite being FIV positive, I can live a long healthy life with proper care. We would love to give you more information regarding the condition if you are interested!

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
