Meet Orchid – single tabby female, born and raised at FMAR, looking for a special someone to help her come out of her shell! As the only tabby in her litter of sisters, Orchid is a unique little lady with a shy side. But don’t let her initial quietness fool you; a wand toy and a little patience reveal her playful, loving heart. She’s got a soft spot for gentle companionship and would thrive in a home where she can receive all the love she deserves.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
