My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spot!

Spot has been part of the FMAR family since she was just a tiny kitten, bravely overcoming an early battle with botflies. Despite her resilience and sweet nature, we can’t figure out why this lovely girl hasn’t found her forever home yet.

In the teen room, Spot is a quiet observer, content to watch the action unfold. She doesn’t hide or shy away and is always happy to receive pets from visitors. Spot might not demand your attention, but she will absolutely melt your heart.

We know that in the right home, Spot will truly thrive. She has so much love to give and just needs a chance to shine. Will you be the one to make her holiday wish come true? Come meet Spot today and give her the forever home she’s been waiting for.

If you`d like to adopt Spot, please submit an application. She`s spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
