My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sam: The Mischief-Maker Extraordinaire!

Sam came into the world with his sister, Sarah, as a tiny bottle baby, but don't let his small size fool you! This little guy is full of energy and charm. He's the more adventurous of the two and absolutely loves to nibble on toes and make fast friends with the resident dog (harass might be a better word, but all in good fun!). Sam has been well-socialized, so he's confident, playful, and always ready to explore new surroundings. If you're looking for a fun-loving kitten with a big personality who's always up for some mischief, Sam is your guy! He's on the hunt for his forever home where he can keep the excitement going and share his playful spirit. Are you ready to let Sam steal your heart (and maybe your socks)? Adopt this little rascal today!

If you'd like to adopt Sam, please apply. FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
