My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fred: The Sweetly Shy Black Kitten Ready for His Forever Family!
This is Fred, one of the adorable black kittens at FMAR. He may come off as a little shy when you first meet him—after all, he was found wandering outside and often gets overlooked for those more social butterflies. But give him a moment, and he’ll warm up to you! Once he’s in your lap, Fred loves to snuggle in and purr away.
Fred is hoping to find a loving family to call his own. If you’re patient and ready to share some cuddles, he’s your guy!

If you`d like to adopt Fred, please submit an application. He`s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
