My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sarah: The Sweet and Snuggly Calico

Sarah came into the world with her brother Sam as a bottle baby, and while she's the quieter of the two, she's still got all the energy and curiosity you'd expect from an active kitten. With her beautiful muted calico coloring, Sarah is as stunning as she is sweet. She's an observer by nature, preferring to watch the world around her before diving into playtime, but don't be fooled-she loves to snuggle up close and soak in all the affection she can get. Sarah has been well-socialized in her foster home, even living happily alongside a dog. She's ready to find her forever home where she can be your cozy little companion, always ready for cuddles and quiet moments.

Looking for a kitten with a calm, loving spirit and a heart full of sweetness? Sarah's your girl! If you'd like to adopt Sarah, please submit an application.

FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
