My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nate here! Sometimes it's hard to find me in the Cat Haven, because I can be a little skittish. We've got a lot of folks walking through here that I just don't know. But when it's just me, the other cats, and the people I know, I totally come around. I love to lay in the cat pile by the sun. I'm 7 years young, so you get calmer energy with me. I'm probably not suited for a busy household, but would love a chance at a nice quiet home.

If you would like to come meet me, please fill out an application on our website! I'm microchipped, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all of my age appropriate vaccines.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
