Meet Lavender, one of FMAR's sweet young mama cats! She and her kitten were rescued by a kind soul and brought to FMAR, where she's been slowly blossoming. Lavender is the type of cat whose personality shines the more time she spends with you. While she's a bit shy at first, she truly comes alive when she's around other adult cats-they help her feel confident and social. If you're looking for a young cat (but not a kitten) to add to your home, especially as a second cat, Lavender might be the perfect fit for you!
If you'd like to adopt Lavender, please submit an application. I'm spayed microchipped, vaccinated, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
