My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, it's me, Dulce. I'm the cat your momma warned you about. I'm gorgeous and I'm used to getting my way-I guess you could say I'm kind of a bad boy. If there's action around here, I want in on it. The pets? Mine. The play time? I'm there. The treats? You guessed it. I was made to be the center of attention, and I'll make sure you know it! I know I'm older than those young riff raff's in the teen room, but it also means a calmer energy. I'm 9 years young, so could take some time to warm up once you get me home, but then I'm just a total love.

If you would like to come meet me, please fill out an application on our website! I'm microchipped, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all of my age appropriate vaccines.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
