Hi, I'm Ace and you will hit the jackpot if you adopt me!. I'm a good boy and a bundle of endless energy and I love to PLAY, PLAY, PLAY! I also love to RUN, RUN, RUN and want a home with a large fenced backyard so I have plenty of space to run around when the urge for some zoomies hits me.
Right now, I don't know many commands but I'm eager to learn! I get a little jumpy when I get excited but I am ready to learn good doggy manners. Are you ready to be my teacher? I love treats so I will learn very quickly! A lot of energy means a lot of LOVE! If you will give me time, training, and patience, I promise to try very hard to be the best dog ever. If you have a dog, we might have fun playing together so bring them to meet me! I don't know if I'll chase cats since I haven't been around many here at FMAR. If you have room in your heart and home for me, I'm waiting to meet you!
If you would like to meet me, please submit an application for me on our website https://www.friendsofmichigan.org/adoptable-dogs. I am neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $250, which helps cover the cost of the medical care I have received.
**Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our dogs can go home. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It really depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. Once we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
