My name is Gunner! Look deep into my soulful eyes and you're sure to fall in love! I love absolutely everyone. Well, except other dogs when I'm out on a walk. Instead of taking me to dog parks or doggy daycare, where I'll likely be too reactive, I would really love to go on hikes, take walks, and have some backyard playtime instead. If you have room in your heart and home for me, I'm waiting to meet you!
If you would like to meet me, please submit an application for me on our website https://www.friendsofmichigan.org/adoptable-dogs. I am neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $250, which helps cover the cost of the medical care I have received.
**Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our dogs can go home. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It really depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. Once we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.

Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home.
