My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Nalah and I'm a tiny little girl at 35-40lbs. I am bashful at first but I will snap out of it quickly with love and treats. Don't talk baby talk because it makes me nervous and I might lay down and piddle....I love to cuddle, and I love to play. I get along with all dogs and I don't mind my Foster Mom's cats. When I hear it's bedtime I run to my crate and get comfy, and I don't bark, I go to sleep like a good girl. When you pet me I will grabbed your arm with my Paws and show you I Love you. I walk well on a leash, if I pull you just have to tell me no and I listen. I am the perfect little companion and my Foster mom hates to see me go but she has 5 big dogs already...so who's going to get lucky and have me all to their own?? Ideally, I would love my own fenced in backyard and a home to call my own. Little kids may be too much for me.

If your application is chosen and approved we will setup a meet and greet with the pet. You will hear back regardless if chosen or not.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
