My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The baby Cheeses are an adorable group of kittens who were brought into rescue after being found outside and alone. They have an estimated birthdate of 08/15/2024.

While the Cheeses were originally quite the spice masters, they have been taming down nicely and accept being held and petted. Anyone interested in adopting them should be prepared to be patient and give them time to settle in. Remember, good things are worth waiting for.

The Cheeses are good with other animals and would be fine with respectful kids.

Each Cheese comes spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. The Cheese tax is $100 for a single or a pair and includes a sample of the food they've been eating and their medical records. Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
