Angel is a sweet, 2-year-old chocolate lab mix full of love and silliness. He’s about 50 lbs, knows commands and is eager to be your best friend. Great with people and dogs, Angel is a goofy boy who loves to shower you with attention and is happiest putting a smile on your face. He would love to find someone to take him on walks and be his constant companion. Sadly he’s one of many dogs who was abandoned at a boarding facility when a rescue closed. All potential families must complete a short and easy application, talk to one of our friendly adoption volunteers and undergo a convenient home check.

Before a dog goes home, all families must complete and sign an adoption contract and we do ask for a suggested donation on all adoptions.

More about this rescue

Take Me Home (TMH) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that has been saving the lives of homeless animals for more than twelve years. We work in conjunction with shelters and rescues throughout California and beyond to help save dogs on death row, on the streets or in unsafe living conditions. Our team is driven by love, compassion and doing right by innocent animals who have no voice.

We are very skilled in running mobile dog adoptions and working with families in all aspects of finding their new family member. We also have an on-site trainer at most of our adoption events and available as a resource after our dogs are placed in loving homes.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, brought up-to-date on all shots and are micro-chipped. If we pull a dog from a shelter, we will quarantine him/her to ensure they are healthy before they go home. We also have an amazing foster program available for our special needs and older dogs.
