My name is Xena!

Welcome Xena to the H-E-A-R-T pack. We rescued when she was in danger of euthanasia due to overcrowding from a shelter in GA. It was Xena's second stay at an Animal Control that we know of. Her microchip came back to a different Georgia shelter but no owner was located or came for her. So we did! Xena is 4 years old and likely a Shepsky (German Shepherd/Husky). Check out how gorgeous that coat is! The Shepherd coloration with the Husky double coat. Pure pawfection! She's an active girl who needs ample exercise and would love another canine playmate. She's very sweet and is always smiling. Such a grateful dog. Xena would like a home with a fenced yard and lots of adventures. Her adoption area is CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA, NC, SC, GA. We will consider extending her adoption area on a case by case basis.

~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
