Meet the Pet
This helps Forgotten Dogs Rescue with pet care costs.
Meet Oregano from the “Herb Litter”! This little guy is the ultimate Cuddle Monster, and he’s on the lookout for his forever home where he can get all the love he craves. Oregano is an absolute sweetheart who adores his people and loves to snuggle up close. His favorite move? Trotting right up to you, climbing into your lap, and then flopping himself down (usually belly-up!) for some well-deserved rubs.
Oregano has an adorable playful side, but his true love is for affection and human connection. He greets everyone he meets with wiggles and a heart full of love, making him a joy to be around! He’d be a perfect fit for a home that can give him plenty of cuddle time.
He would be fine as an only dog, soaking up all the attention, or he’d love being part of a multi-pet family—the more hands to pet him, the better!
We estimate Oregano was born around mid-June and a DNA test was done on one of the pups in the litter (Sage) and the results showed 12 breeds: 28% American Pit Bull Terrier, 27% American Staffordshire Terrier, 14% Chihuahua, 7% Pomeranian, 6% Pug, 4% Australian Cattle Dog, 3% each Poodle and Shar Pei, and 2% each Dachshund, Miniature Pinscher, Shih Tzu, and Chow Chow. Wow! What a mix! We expect Oregano to be medium sized fully grown, but it’s hard to be sure given the breed mix.
Oregano has already had a great start in his foster home, but like all puppies, he will need continued exposure and training in his forever homes to grow up to be his best self.
If you’re ready for a sweet, cuddly companion who will fill your home with love, Oregano might just be your perfect match!
If you are interested in adopting Oregano, please fill out an application from our website https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application. His adoption fee fee is $550 and he is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations. Per our rescue policy, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old for puppies.
