Meet the Pet
This helps Forgotten Dogs Rescue with pet care costs.
Meet Rosemary from our "Herb Litter"! This little sweetheart is a snuggly, low-energy pup who loves to curl up and relax. She can be a bit timid at first, but her curiosity is always peeking through, especially when she’s watching the world from a cozy spot.
Rosemary will thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can take her time to open up. She’d love to have a confident dog sibling to show her the ropes—she absolutely adores other pups and loves having a buddy around! She’s also cat-friendly, crate trained, and potty trained–what a good girl!
One of her funniest habits? She loves stealing shoes–which are almost as big as she is! If you find your shoes in unexpected places, you’ll know exactly who the culprit is.
We estimate Rosemary was born around mid-June and a DNA test was done on one of the pups in the litter (Sage) and the results showed 12 breeds: 28% American Pit Bull Terrier, 27% American Staffordshire Terrier, 14% Chihuahua, 7% Pomeranian, 6% Pug, 4% Australian Cattle Dog, 3% each Poodle and Shar Pei, and 2% each Dachshund, Miniature Pinscher, Shih Tzu, and Chow Chow. Wow! What a mix! We expect Rosemary to be small-medium sized fully grown, but it’s hard to be sure given the breed mix.
Rosemary has already had a great start in her foster home, but like all puppies, she will need continued exposure and training in her forever homes to grow up to be her best self.
If you’re looking for a lovable companion with a knack for stealing hearts (and shoes!), Rosemary might just be the perfect match!
If you are interested in adopting Rosemary, please fill out an application from our website https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application. Her adoption fee is $550 and she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations. Per our rescue policy, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old for puppies.
