Meet Lake! This super sweet and affectionate young mamma cat has so much love to give. Lake is a very young mom who has gone above and beyond to keep her kittens safe and happy… and now we think it’s her turn to find a loving and comfortable home! Lake has definitely earned some quality rest and pampering and she’s sure to fill her future home with so much love.
Since Lake is still young and energetic, she would do better in a home that has another young kitty friend to play with, or with another kitty from FFF. Lake would really love to be adopted with one of her kittens (Marlin, Rain, Sandy, Shelly or Reed). She gets along fabulously with all of her kittens and she loves to play and wrestle with them as if she’s a kitten herself. Lake is a very friendly and easy-going kitty, and she loves to play with humans of all kinds! She is also currently in a foster home with an eleven-year-old dog whom she does very well with. Lake has not yet met any young children, but she does well with older children and she would likely do well with younger children who have appropriate adult supervision. Most importantly, this hard-working mamma needs to be adopted into a home that can give her all the love and attention she deserves!
Lake is truly such a sweet and sensitive little girl. She loves cuddles and pets and she will seek you out for it. Lake is so affectionate and she loves being around people; she will quickly melt your heart and become part of the family! If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy for your next binge-watching session then look no further, this is the cuddle bug for you. Lake will often follow her foster mom around asking for cuddles or a good butt scratch. When there are no human companions around Lake loves cuddling with her kittens. According to her foster mom, Lake spends more time with her kittens than most young mamma cats like her. Lake would definitely benefit from a home with some friendly female companionship! Or with one of her own kittens to keep her comfy.
Not only does Lake love cuddling, she also loves to play! We think that no one has let Lake know that she’s not actually a kitten anymore. This energetic young mamma will happily play with her kittens for hours. She loves to chase, wrestle and play with her kittens like she’s one of them and her zoomies are unmatched! Lake’s favorite toys include crinkle balls and catnip toys and she also loves to scale the cat tree to look for a good spot to perch. Whatever home Lake ends up in, she would certainly appreciate a lot of playtime and activity!
