My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Reed! This snuggly and curious little scout is a joy to have around the house. Reed will sweep you off your feet with his loving nature and unique looks. With his gorgeous grey and white fur and his unique differently colored eyes he is a marvel to behold! Not to mention that he is so full of personality! Reed is very adventurous and he is always the first one to great newcomers or explore something new. Reed is the sweetest of his siblings and he loves to be pet and cuddled! He will make a wonderfully loving companion for some lucky furever home.

Since Reed is still young, he will need to be adopted into a home that has another kitty friend to play with, or with another kitty from FFF. Reed would really love to be adopted with one of his siblings (Marlin, Rain, Sandy, or Shelly) or his mom, Lake! Reed and his siblings get along fabulously and they love to cuddle and play together. Reed is a very friendly and easy-going kitty, and he loves to play with humans of all kinds! He is also currently in a foster home with an eleven-year-old dog whom he does very well with. Reed has not yet met any young children, but he does well with older children and he would likely do well with younger children who have appropriate adult supervision (since he is still so small). Most importantly, Reed needs to be adopted into a home that can give him all the love and attention he deserves!

Rady…set...go! Reed absolutely loves a chance to play tag with you or his siblings. This little guy has a playful, energetic spirit and he loves to play with toys and his siblings alike. Reed’s favorite toys include sparkle balls and catnip mice, and he also loves to climb the cat tree! Reed would really love a home with a cat tree so he can continue practicing his mountain climbing skills.

When Reed isn’t running around and playing with his siblings he absolutely loves cuddling up in a warm lap for some pets! He absolutely adores cuddles, pets, kisses, and attention. According to his foster mom, he’s the sweetest of his litter. He loves to be held and he will follow you around and beg for attention! This little guy will have your heart in no time with his adorable and sweet loving nature.

Are you ready to meet the new love of your life? Contact us today to meet Reed and his siblings! He’s waiting to fill your life with love and affection.

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
