My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeus (named after the King of gods in Greek mythology) is a strong, mighty boy who knows his own mind and is frankly adorable to boot!

Zeus is a sweet, handsome, medium haired little guy. He's friendly but a touch more shy than his siblings. He can easily be picked up, but it's not his favorite thing, so he might complain a little. He'll happily accept lots of pets, though!

Zeus is an energetic, fun loving and independent little guy. That's not to say that he doesn't enjoy playing and tussling with his 4 siblings. He definitely does! Whether he's climbing, jumping to catch a wand toy, batting a ball around or chasing a sibling or two, he's loving life in his foster home and living his best life!

How could his life get any better? By getting adopted into a loving forever home! He'd do fine with a family of respectful children who'll give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable while giving him enough attention to play and interact with him. Of course, Zeus will need a kitten or young cat friend to expend his kitty energy with and become a great pal. He would need at least one resident kitty in his 'purrfect' home, or he would happily go with one or more of his siblings (brothers - Cygnus, Cisne or Valkyrie or sister, Odette)!

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
