My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milan is a bobtail tortoie who loves to be petted

To start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html

Should our adoption coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss it with you.

Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia).

Milan, Sicily, Florence, and their mother were scheduled to be euthanized to make space in a shelter.  Through some social media networking, the family was transferred to House of Mews through networking to save their lives.  Upon arrival, the girls were found malnourished and infested with intestinal parasites; they ravished every single meal as if they had never eaten in their lives.  Finally, these little ladies realize they will not be deprived of food again, but they still squeal and dance around like groupies when they see or hear a can of fancy feast popping open.

Milan is a bobtail tortie.  She only has a little stub as a tail and sometimes looks like a bunny.  A quick search on the internet suggests that Milan is a Manx kitten.  Despite not having a natural tail, Milan gets around fine and is as playful and energetic as any 4-month-old kitten can be.  She is a purrer and loves to be petted in her favorite donut bed, preferably sprinkled with some organic catnip.  She enjoys being pampered like a princess.  She gets along well with her sister and mom, playing and napping with them when her foster people are not home.  She is looking for an adopter to shower her with a royal princess treatment and a friendly resident feline to entertain Her Highness.  She would be ecstatic if she could be adopted into a home with her mom or one of her sisters, Florence or Sicily.
