Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia).
Sicily, Florence, Milan, and their mother were scheduled to be euthanized to make space in a shelter. Through some social media networking, the family was transferred to House of Mews through networking to save their lives. Upon arrival, the girls were found malnourished and infested with intestinal parasites; they ravished every single meal as if they had never eaten in their lives. Finally, these little ladies realize they will not be deprived of food again, but they still squeal and dance around like groupies when they see or hear a can of fancy feast popping open.
Sicily is a light-colored tabby with traces of orange. Some people call that a Torbie. This little girl is small but mighty, a lean, mean eating machine who takes her meals seriously. When meals are served, Sicily is the first to run to the plate, digs her little head right into the food, and vacuum down half a can of fancy feast without taking a breath. Sicily is blithe, spunky, and playful. While content to sit on a human lap, she gets distracted easily by anything that moves; she will run to explore. Like her sisters, Sicily enjoys tackling a hand-held vacuum cleaner and beating up a paper towel roll. She is a social and goofy girl and can be very opinionated. Sicily is looking for a home that appreciates her enduring mischievousness and love for life. She needs a friendly feline companion to keep her occupied and away from trouble. She would be ecstatic if she could be adopted into a home with her mom or one of her sisters, Milan or Florence.
