Missy is 3 yrs old and new to our rescue.
Missy is a pretty tri color collie who arrived at AHDRO with her sister Coco. She is calm indoors, occasionally playing with her sister, but otherwise she watches the household action from a comfortable spot. She gets along well with other dogs, a bit shyly at first, but she seems to prefer people and her sister over other canines and loves that humans are the ones who pet her. And, if you are a new human in her life, petting her will help her to warm up to you quickly.
She has good house manners, and Missy is housebroken and crate trained. Cats are mostly ignored unless they run by, and then she shows some interest but is doing ok. She has not been at her foster’s home long enough to learn commands, but we think that her love of food and treats will help that go smoothly. She would do fine on her own or with other dogs, but Missy would probably love it the most if you might be willing to adopt both her and her sister. She is very sweet and will flourish as she gets to know her forever family in her forever home.
The adoption fee for Missy is $400.
