LULU'S SAYS MEET SUNNY & HUGO, bonded best friends who will be your super sweet READY MADE FAMILY.

SUNNY is 5 years old, approx 45 lbs and is a friendly girl who enjoys any outdoor activity. She loves cuddling at your feet and mental enrichment. [Did we mention she is smart? ] She learns new things in 1-2 tries. She loves being with her family and HUGO, who gives her confidence.

HUGO, a 6 year old Lab mix, approx 48 lbs, is a well trained and charismatic dog . His temperament is friendly-extroverted and emotional. HUGO was utilized to bring cheer to the troops in the US military. His emotional intelligence is off the charts, he will personally cuddle until he's removed their troubles. HUGO does this with SUNNY too. HUGO enjoys cuddles, sunbathing, playing catch, and affection.

SUNNY & HUGO would do best in a kind, loving, and laid-back home in which their guardians appreciate dogs being dogs.

SUNNY & HUGO should not be adopted separately. They love each other and we do not want to split them up. They are both spayed/neutered and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Their adoption fee is $425 each. Please note that training is strongly recommended for all dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing.

Adoption application required. If approved, adoption fees range from $295 - $575. An adoption contract is required at time of payment.

Please note: Lulu's Rescue does not adopt dogs into households with children under 10 years of age, since it is an accepted national statistic that most childhood dog bites are from the family pet in children under 10 years of age. Lulu's does not adopt out puppies under 9 weeks of age.

Animal behavior is situational as proven by scientific research. Even though we are transparent in relaying accurate information about the dog's history while in their previous residence we can not predict or guarantee future behavior in your environment. Strictly adhering to the "2 week shutdown" is critical in providing a good foundation for a successful adoption. Because animals are sentient creatures who may react differently to environmental factors the rescue can not be held responsible for future behavior once they are taken into your home.
