Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Wyatt! He's an adult German Shepherd type of guy. Wyatt is a little shy, at first, but can be quite talkative! He's treat-motivated, and pretty good on a leash. Wyatt weighs in just over 85lbs. He also enjoys a nice game of fetch, when he's feeling playful! His former owner raised him since he was a puppy, he was five years old when he came to the Pound under unfortunate circumstances. Wyatt was heartbroken his owner didn't come to get him, and cried for several months. Wyatt didn't want to make friends even though the volunteers and staff tried very hard to comfort him. After awhile, he seemed to realize his owner wasn't coming for him and started making friends with people and dogs.
His favorite things are running alongside other dogs in the ball run, and can probably outrun all of them. Wyatt also has a lot of fun playing keep away with a ball when he's in the big corral!
Come check out Wyatt and our other dogs available for adoption at 2650 Washington Blvd, Crescent City, CA 95531. Kennels are open Mon-Fri, 9AM-4PM, or by appointment.
An adoption application will be required from those interested in providing a fab furever home to Wyatt. Please call us at (707) 464-7235 for additional information. More photos of this dog may be available on the Dogs of Del Norte County Facebook page.
