Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Kiyah! She's a beautiful adult Pit Bull type with the softest fur! Kiyah knows "sit" and "down," is eager-to-please and seems smart enough to learn much more! She can be vocal when she thinks she's being overlooked, but does settle down and chill. She seems to be picky about other dogs, so may do best as your one & only. Kiyah has been in foster and her foster family reported she is amazing, sweet and housebroken. She walks well on a leash with only a few days of training and has not reacted to other dogs, humans or cats while out for a walk. Kiyah is a cuddle bug and loves her toys. She sleeps through the night (but does snore). She is not destructive when left alone but does have some separation anxiety that the foster family was working on. Kiyah is quite trainable and sits quietly while the family is having meal time.
Kiyah adores her foster family, but does need a forever home of her own. Please contact us if you are interested in meeting her!
Come out and meet our other adoptable dogs at 2650 Washington Blvd., Crescent City, CA. Kennels are open Mon-Fri, 9AM-4PM, or by appointment.
An adoption application will be required from those interested in providing a fab furever home to Kiyah. Please call us at (707) 464-7235 for additional information. More photos of this dog may be available on the Dogs of Del Norte County Facebook page, where you can also find a link to our adoption application and message us with your inquiries.
