Meet Jitterbug!

Are you ready to dance your way into Jitterbug's heart? This 1 year old French Bulldog will make your life a whole lot more fun! Rescued from the shelter, she's a rare gem with no medical or behavioral issues—just pure joy packed into a compact, snuggly bundle.

Jitterbug has the kind of personality that gets the party started. She runs up to greet anyone and everyone—dogs, people, probably even squirrels (if they stuck around long enough!). Hyperactive dogs? Not a problem, she's cool as a cucumber. And while she’s fostered by herself and loves her me-time, she’s equally thrilled to hang out with new friends.

Though she's not a barker, don't be surprised if she does a little hop to say, “Hey! Pay attention to me!” But with some gentle reminders, Jitterbug will quickly learn her manners. She’s already mastered leash-walking like a pro and shares her home with a teenager and a pre-teen—so she’s certified kid-friendly.

Her playful curiosity extends to cats too! Jitterbug is fascinated by them but not in an “I’m chasing you up a tree” kind of way. More of a “What’s this fluffy thing?” kind of way.

Toys? Yes, please! Jitterbug is always ready for some playtime fun, followed by a cozy nap, of course.

Her daily routine is pretty much clockwork: Jitterbug wakes up around 7:30 am for a quick bathroom break in the backyard, and her dinner time is at 7 pm sharp. After a short evening walk, she’s ready to settle down for the night in her playpen, perfectly content and able to sleep on her own.

Fully house-trained and patient, Jitterbug is the type of dog who can hold it until you return—no accidents here!

So, if you’re looking for a furry sidekick who brings endless laughs, tail wags, and love—Jitterbug is your girl. Apply now and get ready to boogie!

Jitterbug is an option for homes with children over the age of 6 and if you've had dog experience, she's your kinda dog!

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
