Whippersnapper is a 6 month old tiny weenie little 5lbs Chi who’s ready to bring the humor to his forever home. Whipper came from the shelter with a few of his pals. We don’t know how a guy as cute as he is landed behind bars, but we know his next chapter is looking fab. Whipper is the perfect size for a purse pal. He is a snuggly, cuddly little guy who wants to go every where with his people.

Whippersnapper is a loving and cuddly little gentleman ready to make his mark on you! He is full of happiness and we haven’t seen his tail stop wagging since we met him. He is a pro cuddler and adores burrowing under blankets for naps with only his tail sticking out. Whip is a faithful companion who trots after his people wherever they go. He is super curious and inquisitive, always investigating new things and discovering new adventures. He has started figuring out the whole “toy” thing and would love being spoiled by his new people. Whip is the perfect mix of energy. He can be energetic when he is getting his zoomies out but he is also happy to chill and snuggle with you when you want a heating blanket.

Even though he’s small, he is quite the little adventure dude. He can tackle hikes with ease as his little legs scamper up the trail. He also has amazing hops and his little bunny legs can spring him up unbelievable heights! Whip has the cutest face and he is the perfect size to do just about anything with you. If you love the kind of dog who wants to be your faithful shadow, you won’t find a better bestie than Whippersnapper!

Whip wakes up around 6 AM and goes out for a quick pee in the yard. He comes inside for breakfast and then heads out on a morning stroll. As his foster mom starts her workday, he snuggles on her lap and gets his snoozes in. He goes on another short walk at noon and then plays with his foster sibling for a bit. He spends his afternoon sunbathing and snoozing, occasionally checking out the toy chest and pulling a plush out. He has some more playtime as his foster mom wraps up her day before he has his dinner. He plays with his foster brother in the yard until the weather cools down enough for an evening walk. Once they return, he plays a bit more and romps around the house. He gets his cuddles on the couch as he watches TV. He goes out for one last potty and then goes into his crate for the night at 9 PM.

Whippersnapper lives with another dog currently and he loves having a playmate. He gets along with the resident cat as well (she’s bigger than him). He likes meeting new people and finds a way to wiggle into any lap. He walks well on a leash and greets other dogs politely. Whip is potty trained. He is smart and ready to show the world all he has to offer! Don’t be a downer, come meet Whippersnapper!

Whippersnapper is an option for any home. Kids in the home should be over the age of 6.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
