Coraline is a 2 year old Shih-Tzu x Poodle ready to discover her forever home behind a secret rescue door! Coraline was rescued from the shelter that was over capacity. We don’t know her past but we know her future will be award winning! Coraline weighs 20 pounds and has beautiful long legs. She has a non-shedding coat and is an option for homes with allergies. Coraline will require regular grooming to ensure her coat stays fluffy and fabulous! Ready for a movie star in your home? Come meet Coraline!

Coraline is a happy girl with a smile that never leaves her face and a heart that’s practically bursting out of her chest. She is a total snuggle but who loves following her people around the house to soak up her cuddles. She’s a huge foodie who is always up for snack time, whether in the kitchen or at the local coffee shop. Coraline is the perfect level of independent; she can keep herself occupied when she needs to but would prefer to be by your side forever! Coraline would love to join her new people on all the adventures and walks they have planned, but she’s also totally up for a day of snuggles on the couch as well! She’s also super nimble and has a (weird) party trick where she catches flies and bugs that fly by her like a little ninja. We expect nothing less from a girl named after Coraline the movie character. Coraline is the kind of gal who needs her new people to be patient as she settles in, kind of like how you hang out with cats. Once she decides you are her people, she’s yours forever and will shower you in all the love she has to offer! Coraline has truly won over everyone who’s met her and they all rave over her cute looks and her even cuter outlook on life.

Coraline starts her day with a big stretch inside her crate before trotting into the kitchen for breakfast. Once she eats, she heads into the yard for playtime and monitoring the garden. She snoozes in the office as her foster mom works for a few hours before she heads out on an afternoon stroll. In the afternoon, she spends some time zooming around the yard with her toys as she shows off her long legs and fabulous smile. She has her dinner at around 6 PM and then goes out on another short walk. In the evening, she hops up on the couch and gets her belly rubbed as she watches TV with her foster mom. Coraline loves to go to bed early so she puts herself to bed once she’s ready to sleep. It’s a hard life being an adorable dog, we get it.

Coraline lives with a resident senior dog and they get along very well. She is playful and would love a buddy to zoom around with. She is fully potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. Coraline is working on her leash walking skills and would benefit from additional training and encouragement. Coraline is shy when she first meets new people but if you give her the chance to warm up, you’ll see how special she is. Come on down and meet our gal this spooky season!

Coraline is an option for homes with prior dog ownership experience. Kids in the home should be over the age of 13.
