Meet Lily, our sweet Mama Bichon! This good mama was rescued with her litter of pups, desperate need of medical care. Poor Lily was suffering from pyometra and her uterus was necrotizing, with no care from her previous owners. Our wonderful team of caregivers and veterinarian got right to work on getting Lily healthy, she has been spayed, proper medication and a dental and is now in good health. Lily's litter is now weaned and in foster homes of their own, so now Lily needs now is her perfect forever home- with no puppy responsibilities!
Bichons are very smart, loving little dogs, fabulous companions. Soft beautiful coats and charming personalities make Bichon Frise a very desirable breed! Lily needs a soft, and quieter home to assimilate into family life, she has had a tough road raising her pups, and deserves all the cuddle time she can get. At 3 years young, and a life of breeding behind her, she deserves the love and affection and healing a loving family can provide.
Lily will require a home with a secure fence, as she is so timid, she will scare and bolt.

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.
Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.
We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
