Meet Lionel, she’s an adorable gal with stunning markings and a laid back personality. Lionel Lou is a lil nugget with a big personality! She loves to snuggle up as close as possible to her person when she’s not following you everywhere you go. Lionel Lou gets a long great with other dogs and would love to have a home with a doggie friend. She is amazing with children and has been known to curl up with them under the covers. She is absolutely adorable! Lionel is smart, outgoing and so lovable, she will make a great addition to your home

Vet references and personal references verified, verify home ownership or rental and ability to adopt

Virtual or in person

Approve Application

Send out approval with information on canine, need to electronically sign. Adoption agreement. Review all aspects of the adoption agreeement

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption donation accepted, welcome letter emailed with educational information to welcome your new dog home. Transport arranged

6.
Take the Pet Home

Adopters receive all vetting documentation and a welcome home goodie bag for new fur friend

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
