Leo tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.

A volunteer writes: Leo is completely convinced the wrapper is the best part of the treat. Insistently chomping on a Churu wrapper, Leo explained that most cats don't do this properly, but he knows. Noted! Anyway, when I first met Mr. Leo, he was curled up in his den. He came to us with a tail injury that we're helping him out with and since I love a little me-time myself, I thought I'd share a treat and be on my way. Well, once Leo had come all the way out of his den for his snack eating demonstration, he decided he had time to stay out for the fun. A pipe cleaner made the day as he leaped after it with the same interesting confidence he shows with the treats. Leo was found on his own in an apartment building and has been finding his way at the Care Center. He's looking for a patient and loving family and it just might be you!
