Meet Yoco, a shy 3-year-old female guinea pig who needs a new home! She is not spayed and is bonded with her best friend, Una, so they must be adopted together. Yoco can sometimes be quite playful, enjoying fresh veggies and treats like apple, hay snacks, and watermelon. While she enjoys being around people, she prefers to interact on her own terms and doesn't like to be picked up or held. Animal Care & Control of NYC (AC&C) encourages everyone to
come to one of our three full service Care Centers when looking
to adopt a pet. Beautiful dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and
rabbits are anxiously waiting for a home to call their own. All
AC&C adoptions include vaccinations, a microchip,
spay/neuter, one month of free pet health insurance, and a free
office visit at a participating veterinarian.

Animal Care & Control of NYC (AC&C) rescues more than
30,000 animals each year. A non-profit organization, AC&C is
under contract with the NYC Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene (DOHMH) to rescue, care for and find loving homes for
homeless and abandoned animals. AC&C is a full-service
animal organization that takes in any animal in need in New
York City.
