Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These four kittens were rescued by an 80 year old resident of Detroit who took in a very young pregnant mom cat. She got the entire family fully vetted at All About Animals and brought them to FCS to be adopted. The whole litter is very loving, cuddly, playful, and an absolute joy to be around. They would love to cuddle on your lap, play with toys, and give you plenty of kisses. The litter is bonded well with each other, and we hope they can go home in pairs!

Submit Application

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
