Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update from Bandit's foster mom: Bandit is a spunky older gentleman man. Even though he is older, he still has plenty of energy. He plays well with other dogs and will play fetch with his tennis ball. He is food motivated and can catch his treat when it’s tossed in the air to him. He likes to be involved in the activities in the house with his people. He enjoys car rides, burrowing under his blankets or snuggling with his person on the couch. He enjoys a stroll in the afternoon and walks very well on a leash. Stairs are challenging and he needs to be carried up and down them which he doesn’t mind at all. He knows what “potty” means and goes to the same spot every time.
Bandit is an adorable Chihuahua mix whose owner passed away. We were told he was 5 but closer to 9. Bandit is good with dogs and cats. He is housebroken and just a love. He is not great on stairs. Bandit is looking for a retirement home.
Adoption fee is $450

More about this rescue
Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.
PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
