My story

* Came to us as a stray very overwhelmed and in poor condition
* Missing fur, fleas, and scared
* Has been slowly coming out of his shell, being more social with people
* Can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly
* Loves being outside away from his kennel
* Knows how to sit and take his treats gently
* Enjoys chasing after squeaky toys and will even bring them back for another toss
* Curious, but mainly ignored cats when introduced
* Was very tense and uneasy when meeting dog friends
* Likely selective with dog besties, will need to meet any potential siblings
* Needs a home with older children

Visit inapl.org to print out an adoption application. If you are interested in a specific pet please remember to write their name and kennel number(there are multiple animals with the same name in our shelter.)

Cat/kitten adoption fee: $85
Includes: Spay/neuter, FIV/Feline Leukemia/Heartworm testing, vaccinations, rabies shot (for those old enough), wormer, microchip and a free vet visit at participating vets.

***Cats adopted from PetSmart (Anderson location) get an adoption packet from PetSmart with valuable coupons for a free bag of food, discounted toys, etc.

Dog/Puppy adoption fee: $100
Includes: Spay/neuter, Heartworm test, vaccinations, rabies shot (for those old enough), wormer, microchip and a free vet visit at participating vets.

Dogs from the F.I.D.O. shelter dog prison program adoption fee: $150
Includes: Spay/neuter, vaccinations, rabies shot, Heartworm test, microchip, wormer, a free vet exam to use at a participating vet. They are also crate trained, house trained and know their 5 basic commands.
