Hercules, Hercules, Hercules! Meet Hercules, a one-and-a-half-year-old male American Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing around 40 pounds. This big-hearted boy was surrendered to the shelter on 10/9/24 due to housing concerns, so it’s no fault of his own. Hercules is crate trained and has lived indoors, getting along well with children ages 9 and up. He’s also said to be great with cats! While it’s unknown how he interacts with other dogs, a meet-and-greet is always recommended if you have canine companions. A true kid at heart, Hercules loves playing with toys, rolling around in the grass, and giving the best hugs. Ready for some big, loving cuddles? Come meet Hercules today!

More about this shelter
The Daviess County Animal Shelter receives thousands of animals annually. Some of them are returned to their owners, some find new homes, but unfortunately some are never placed in a home. This is why it is so important that these animals find new homes.
