Animal Profile: Brin is a 4 month old Terrier X mix (best guess) who will be joining us from Texas on 09/16. He and his10 siblings were found dumped in plastic bag left on the side of the road at only a couple weeks old. He and 4 others survived and were bottle feed and are now thriving and healthy. They are friendly with dogs, cats and kids. These puppies are being raised in a foster home with other animals and small children, and will be great family pets
Foster Update: Merlin (brin) is a sweet affectionate survivor. He is smart and seems to only exist to please. He is really smart and treat motivated. He is crate trained, nearly potty trained and walks well on a leash. Merlin has lived with cats and kids in his Texas foster and has proven to be gentle with the kids in my neighborhood. He can be shy at times so we are looking for a family without young children He is very friendly with other dogs and would fit nicely with a playmate. This is not mandatory because Merlin is like playdough, he will fit in almost any home. He is a real gem, he loves snuggle time, walking time and play time.
Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
