My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little girl is named Amy Grace and she was found on the side of a very remote rural road laying in the overgrown grass and curled up in a ball shaking. She was alone and so young and so hungry. It was by the grace of God that she was found and rescued before some animal came along and decided she needed to be their dinner. She is a sweet little girl that needs company right now. She is being fostered by a senior couple who are loving on her and reassuring her she is going to be fine. They have another small adult dog that is there to show her the ropes in life. We believe her to be a shepherd mix and what a beauty she is. It's 7 to 8 weeks she only weighs 8 pounds. This little girl has a great chance at life now. She will grow and she will thrive and she will love you and she will need your love in return. We are looking for someone with the time to do some training with her and who has the time to exercise her daily. We think she would do best in a home with another dog if possible and children I'm sure would be a great deal of company for her if there was not another dog. Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website.
