My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The sweet girl with the pretty pink nose with black freckles on it is looking for a home. At just 10 to 11 months old and close to 40 lbs, this girl is a Lab mix and her name is Heidi.  She and her two brothers showed up at a home in the Tennessee countryside as young pups and the owner of the house started feeding them but never looked for help to get them a home as young puppies. Now they have grown up and this pretty girl Heidi has been in danger of getting pregnant now that she's older. Critter Cavalry Rescue is stepping forward to help this little stray trio of lab mixes get spayed/neutered and to find good homes that will let them be a part of a family's everyday life and to enjoy the love of good people.  Heidi is a very sweet girl and open for meeting new people that will give her confident attention and love. She has lived outside her whole life and so she will need new skill sets for learning about living inside. It will come fast. We are putting her and her brothers in Foster homes right now and getting them spayed and neutered October 10th. We know that Heidi will be a blessing and she is needing the opportunity to show just how special she is. Won't you consider adopting her? If so, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
