My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Walmart is currently in the shelter, and he is available for foster or adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

Walmart is a big-hearted American Bully with a personality as large as his frame! This gentle giant loves everyone he meets—his enthusiasm can be a bit like a bull in a china shop, but that just means he’s full of energy and affection! He may knock over a toy or two in his excitement, but his heart is pure gold.

Walmart is currently learning his basic commands like `sit` and `come,` and with some patience and treats, he’ll be a well-mannered companion in no time!

If you’re ready for a fun-loving dog who’ll bring joy and a little chaos into your life, Walmart is the perfect match. Come meet him today and experience the delightful whirlwind that is Walmart!

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
